The nature of our service, and State of Oregon regulation, require that guests share with us certain private information. The Sacred Mushroom™ respects your privacy and has invested in the systems necessary to protect it.

Use of Video

In accordance with State law, certain designated areas of our facility (entrance and exit areas and secured access area for psilocybin storage only, not the client administration areas) are under video surveillance. Our systems store the images for the mandated 90 days. Images can be viewed by authorized staff or state officials on demand and are stored on a hard drive that is secured and encrypted.

If you elect, we can record your psilocybin journey utilizing a free-standing camera setup so you can review parts that may wish to see. You are not required to have it recorded and must opt-in for the video record of your journey

Keeping of Records

TSM uses a HIPAA complaint electronic health records software. We only document what is required by OHA regulations.

Is psilocybin legal?

The State of Oregon has legalized the administration of psilocybin. It is regulated by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and operated by licensed service centers and facilitators.

Is psilocybin right for everyone?

No. There are some medical and mental health conditions that are not compatible with psilocybin. These include: (1) anyone diagnosed with active psychosis, (2) anyone with epilepsy or another seizure causing condition, (3) anyone taking medications with lithium, (4) anyone who is pregnant, (5) anyone with certain heart conditions, and (6) if you have been considering harming yourself or others.

How do I know what dose is right for me?

The dose (amount of psilocybin consumed) is a function of the purpose of your journey and should be determined in consultation with your facilitator. TSM offers many low-dose and mid-dose events for people seeking less intense experiences.

What type of experience does your facility provide?

The Sacred Mushroom™ offers a supported, supervised experiences in our spacious facility with room to roam, activities to engage, and private spaces for alone time. The experience is catered to your specific needs and wishes, with aspects like sights, sounds, and scents all catered to your preferences.

How is the psilocybin consumed?

Currently, regulations allow for delivery of psilocybin through eating the mushrooms or drinking a hot tea.
