Missy McMurrray – Licensed psilocybin facilitator
Missy was thrust into meditation in 2009 when chronic pain gifted her the opportunity to look more deeply at life in an existential way. What felt like a betrayal of the body ultimately led to the discovery that our bodies are not in the way, they are the way. With a particular interest in rebalancing the feminine and masculine energies, her work draws on ancient wisdom traditions, consciousness, movement, sound and other embodiment practices. She believes this path can be gentle and that play is essential.
Missy is a mindfulness teacher and completed training with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. Drawing on these tools of insight and compassion, Missy’s greatest message is that there is nothing to fix. When we return to our inherent wholeness we are free to change, connected to the wisdom of the body and the strength of the heart.
Jim Klopfer – Licensed psilocybin facilitator
Jim has a deep interest in exploring the intersection between what we perceive and feel under ordinary circumstances and the shifts in awareness that may come through experiencing extraordinary states of consciousness. After a long career in IT and several years of personal exploration with psilocybin, Jim decided to assist other folks with their own personal growth journeys. He has special interest in helping people unlock creativity, explore trauma, or simply satisfy a curiosity. Jim earned his facilitation license from the Changa Institute in July 2023. Jim brings a sense of humor, a non-directive approach, a well-practiced ability to hold space, and firm ethical standards to each of his facilitations. Jim is an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army. His hobbies include playing the guitar, cooking, and travel.
